Following a landmark performance at Glastonbury, The Prodigy have added two more dates to their highly anticipated 2026 UK and Ireland arena tour—joined by electronic music icon Carl Cox.
Fresh off a blistering Glastonbury set that reaffirmed their place at the top of the live electronic music pantheon, The Prodigy are riding high on momentum. The band announced their 2026 UK and Ireland Arena Tour on June 23, and now—due to overwhelming demand—they’ve added two more arena shows to the schedule.
The tour, which already featured 10 dates across major cities, now includes performances at:
- Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham – Friday, 1 May 2026
- Utilita Arena, Newcastle – Saturday, 2 May 2026
Tickets for the new shows go on general sale at 9 AM BST on Wednesday, 2 July via the official link here.
Carl Cox Joins The Prodigy for Groundbreaking Collaboration
What’s generating just as much buzz as the tour itself is the inclusion of legendary DJ Carl Cox as a special guest. Cox will open each night with a two-hour vinyl set, performed across three decks, blending techno, rave, and house classics in a way only he can.
“Due to demand The Prodigy have extended their UK & Ireland Arena tour, with special guest Carl Cox, to include Nottingham and Newcastle,” shared the band on social media.
For fans of rave culture, this pairing is nothing short of monumental. It represents a powerful fusion of two generational forces: The Prodigy’s fierce, genre-bending live performances, and Carl Cox’s relentless mastery behind the decks.
A Historic Moment for UK Electronic Music
This tour marks one of the most significant live music events in the UK electronic scene in recent years. The pairing of The Prodigy and Carl Cox bridges the worlds of rave, breakbeat, techno, and rock-influenced electronica, reminding fans of the genre’s enduring spirit and rebellious roots.
The Prodigy are widely regarded as one of the most influential electronic acts of all time, and this tour—with Cox in tow—further cements their legacy. Meanwhile, Carl Cox continues to evolve his already iconic career, remaining as relevant and revolutionary today as he was decades ago.
With 2026 promising to be a year of epic live events, this tour stands out as a must-attend experience for any fan of electronic music, rave culture, or live performance history in the making.
