My goal is to create original, refined, and intricately detailed songs that transport the listener to various corners of the world, bridging continents through melodies to craft innovative tracks. What initially sparked your passion for music, and how did you decide to pursue a career in the industry?
My passion for music began in a unique way. I work as a high school teacher, and it was at school that I discovered a musical talent in one of my students. I decided to guide him on his musical journey, and he won a music competition in Italy. Inspired by his success, I started composing my own songs and sharing them with my students. Their appreciation and encouragement motivated me to continue this personal musical journey and to start releasing my music for a wider audience. I consider myself a versatile artist, creating songs across various genres, including house music, electro house, Organic House, and electronic music, and I’m even venturing into composing tracks reminiscent of the 80s and 90s. My collaboration with Cafe De Anatolia is a significant opportunity for professional growth, and I’m excited to have my Organic House track “Last Flight” released with them, making my music accessible to a global audience.
Can you share a memorable moment from your music career that made a significant impact on your artistic journey?
The most memorable moment in my music career was the discovery of a musical talent in one of my students. It not only led to his success but also ignited my own musical journey. I realized that I had a hidden talent for creating music that I hadn’t recognized before. This discovery changed the course of my life and set me on a path to pursue a career in music.
As an artist, how do you approach the creative process? Do you have any specific rituals or methods to get into the creative mindset?
My creative process typically starts with selecting a musical instrument. From there, I choose complementary instruments, sounds, and musical notes based on the type of song I want to create and the emotions I wish to convey to the listener. Each of my songs has a unique story, and I aim to communicate that story through my compositions, even if they don’t contain lyrics. I want my music to evoke images, sensations, and emotions in the listener, allowing them to envision the same narrative that I imagined during the creative process. For instance, my song “Last Flight” has a cheerful, festive atmosphere, and it should convey the sense of a countdown and the anticipation of positive change, much like the excitement of a wedding celebration.
What do you believe sets your music apart from others in the industry? What makes your sound unique?
What sets my music apart is its ability to transport the listener’s mind. I collect fragments of different genres and blend them into my music, creating a fusion of sounds that becomes a distinctive element I refer to as “Smooth House.”
How do you handle challenges or setbacks in your music career? Is there a particular experience that taught you valuable lessons?
Thus far, I haven’t encountered significant challenges or setbacks. I have a deep belief in my projects, and I allow others to judge my productions.
