Tell us More About Your Release?
My inspiration for this single comes from my admiration for the Kalahari Desert. The musical genre is defined as Melodic House, featuring characteristic sounds like ethnic voices and flutes. The story behind this creation follows the Ahstrãm theme published at the beginning of 2023.
What is your connection with Cafe De Anatolia?
My connection began in February 2023 when I signed a contract for the theme “EHÃM.” Since then, I have been producing music for Cafe De Anatolia regularly. We have already released 6 singles and 2 remixes and are currently preparing for the release of the new song “KALAHARI,” which will hit the market in November 2023.
Can you share a memorable moment from your music career that made a significant impact on your artistic journey?
One of the most memorable moments in my career was receiving an invitation in 2016 to perform at Savannah and Sunset Ashram in Ibiza. This opportunity opened doors for me and made me realize that I could invest in my career and become a professional DJ.
Tell us more about yourself & your music career?
I was born in Lisbon in 1970 and began my career as a DJ in 1997, leaving a mark in Portugal’s electronic music scene. I now have a solid, eclectic career, recognized experience, and high-quality DJing skills, with a wealth of experiences, knowledge, and successes at various venues, production companies, and events.
My musical creativity cannot be confined to a single genre, but currently, my sets have a more Melodic, Organic House style. In my DJ performances, I demonstrate my versatility to provide the audience with an unforgettable experience.
I am currently signed to Cafe De Anatolia, an international label, and have released several songs through this label.
How would you describe your style of music?
I describe my musical style in two ways. During daytime events like sunsets, beach parties, and boat parties, it falls into a more Melodic and Organic House category. In the nighttime, the reference style is Techno Melodic and Techno.
What is your best time of the day to create?
For creating music, without a doubt, it’s at night when I can have maximum concentration and tranquility in the studio.
Are you working on something new?
Yes, for the first time, I am considering releasing an EP titled “Temple of Sounds” with three new songs (Hidhuã, Bodh Gayã, and Aqhuã) by the end of the year for Cafe De Anatolia LAB.
