Seth Troxler & The Martinez Brothers’ Tuskegee Music Returns with ‘Sex & The City’ EP
After a four-year break, Tuskegee Music, led by Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers, makes a triumphant comeback with the release of their new EP, ‘Sex & The City’. This collaborative effort between producer/DJ HoneyLuv and Seth Troxler pays homage to the roots of dance music while infusing a seductive allure.
‘Sex & The City’ samples the iconic track ‘So Much’ by Chicago house legend Paul Johnson from 1998. The EP weaves together sleek synths, deep basslines, and rhythmic percussion to capture the essence of Tuskegee’s musical philosophy.
HoneyLuv expressed her gratitude for collaborating with Seth Troxler, stating, “To even be in the same room with Seth is an honor, but to collaborate with him on a track is a dream come true. This song truly embodies the essence of house music and represents both its past and future. I’m thrilled that Seth was a part of creating this with me.”
The Paul Johnson Estate also chimed in, acknowledging the significance of this release: “Tuskegee, HoneyLuv, and Seth Troxler have successfully planted a flag in favor of honoring house music’s history, preserving its legacy, and fostering a global community. The Paul Johnson Estate is grateful to collaborate with such tastemakers in the realms of artistry, musicianship, and equity within the dance music industry.”
