Belgian techno queen Charlotte de Witte just wrapped an explosive four-day run in New York City, headlining six sold-out shows and teasing fans with new music ahead of her highly anticipated debut album.
From May 21st to May 24th, de Witte turned the city that never sleeps into her personal playground, bringing her signature dark techno sound to six of NYC’s most iconic—and secretive—venues. The whirlwind tour began at Public Records in Brooklyn and stormed through Superior Ingredients, a mystery warehouse location, 99 Scott, The Ruins at Knockdown Center, and finally concluded at the legendary Great Hall at Avant Gardner.
The performances were nothing short of legendary, with fans raving about the intensity, energy, and exclusivity of each night. The tour coincided with the rollout of de Witte’s upcoming single “No Division”, a pounding techno track featuring XSALT, set for official release on May 29th via her own KNTXT label.
“No Division” Launches Ahead of Debut Album Drop in November
Charlotte de Witte’s NYC residency doubled as a live preview of her long-awaited debut album, set to release on November 7th. She premiered multiple unreleased tracks throughout the tour, giving diehard fans an exclusive first listen to the music that will define her next era.
Her newest single, “No Division”, builds on the momentum of the album’s previously released opener “The Realm”, blending heavy-hitting techno rhythms with a message of unity and individuality. A limited-edition vinyl pressing of “No Division”—featuring both the Original Mix and Instrumental Mix—was made available at each NYC show ahead of its official digital release.
A Symbolic NYC Tour: Chaos, Unity, and Techno
“Launching this single while I’m in New York feels symbolic,” de Witte said in a recent statement. “There’s something about the city—its chaos, its diversity, its constant movement—that perfectly mirrors the spirit of ‘No Division’. It’s a place where differences collide and coexist.”
That spirit of coexistence was felt across all six shows, as fans from all backgrounds gathered under the same beat. The intimate yet intense settings served as the perfect backdrop for de Witte’s message of unity through music.
As one of the most in-demand techno artists in the world, Charlotte de Witte continues to push boundaries both in the studio and on stage. With her NYC takeover now behind her and “No Division” set to release this week, anticipation for her debut album is reaching a fever pitch.
