A Milestone in Techno: Charlotte de Witte’s Debut Album

After an illustrious 15-year journey marked by 25 EPs and countless electrifying performances, Belgian techno luminary Charlotte de Witte is poised to unveil her self-titled debut album. Scheduled for release on November 7 via her esteemed label, KNTXT, this 11-track opus promises to be a deeply personal reflection of her artistic evolution and unwavering passion for the dancefloor.

A Personal and Emotional Journey

In a heartfelt statement, de Witte expressed the profound significance of this project:

“This album is the most personal project I’ve ever worked on. It’s not just a collection of tracks; it’s a reflection of who I am, where I come from, and what continues to drive me: the dancefloor.”

She further elaborated on the narrative woven throughout the album:

“Across 11 tracks, this album tells the story of my journey in music so far. Every sound, every transition, is intentional. I followed what felt right, what moved me. And that honesty is what makes this album so special to me. It’s raw. It’s real. It’s emotional. It’s who I am.”

Lead Single: “The Realm”

To offer a glimpse into the album’s sonic landscape, de Witte will release the lead single, “The Realm,” on April 10. This acid-fueled techno track has already become a staple in her recent performances, captivating audiences at major festivals like Tomorrowland Brasil and Lollapalooza in Argentina and Chile.

Collaborative Ventures

Further showcasing her versatility, de Witte collaborated with fellow Belgian techno powerhouse Amelie Lens on the One Mind EP, released in February 2025. This two-track project highlighted their synergistic energy and shared vision for the future of techno.
