Our upcoming release, the EP “Shamol,” is a self-titled album with no collaborations, set to be released on December 8, 2023. Crafted over six months, the album incorporates ethnic Uzbek instruments such as Gijjak, Sato, Tanbur, Rubob, Nay, Doira, and Nagora. We had the honor of recording with masters of their craft, each representing our rich cultural heritage. The inspiration for the album stems from cautionary folk tales, the philosophy, and the energy of our surroundings. It draws from the profound beauty of our nature, culture, and people. “Shamol” falls within the downtempo genre, a deliberate choice to reveal a diverse musical palette that mirrors the pace of our lives.
