AndyMoff Unveils ‘ТІКІ’: A Spiritual Journey Into Organic, Ethno, and Afro House with Cafe De Anatolia

Andrii Somov a.k.a “AndyMoff” — Kyiv, Ukraine

Can you introduce yourself to our audience?

Hello everyone!
My name is AndyMoff, and I’m an electronic music producer and performer. My journey into music began early, right after graduating from music school — I’ve always been deeply drawn to sound and rhythm.

I truly found my place in the world of electronic music about four years ago, when I started creating and sharing tracks online. What began as a hobby quickly became a deep passion, and my goal is to turn it into a full-time career.

Over time, I’ve developed a signature sound that blends organic, ethno, and afro house influences — creating music that feels both personal and unique. What fascinates me most about electronic music is its power to stir emotion and energy. For me, it’s about crafting experiences — music that moves people both physically and emotionally.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music, specifically in electronic genres?

What inspired me most was the sense of freedom and creativity. I’ve always loved sound, but when I discovered electronic music, it felt like the possibilities were endless. You’re not limited to traditional instruments — you can build entire worlds with just a laptop and your imagination.

How would you describe your style and sound?

I would describe my style as a fusion of organic, ethno, and afro house — rhythmic, soulful, and deeply atmospheric. I use earthy textures, tribal percussion, and melodic elements to bring a sense of culture and emotion into the music.

My inspiration comes from nature, world traditions, and emotional storytelling — blending them into a sound that feels grounded yet spiritual. For me, it’s all about connection: with the music, with each other, and with something deeper.

About Your Release

Tell us about your latest release.

My latest track, “ТІКІ”, is inspired by Polynesian mythology. In many legends, Tiki is considered the first human — often portrayed as a demigod, a bridge between the spiritual and earthly worlds.

I wanted the track to feel both ancient and modern: mystical and spiritual, yet rhythmic and danceable — like a ritual under open skies. It blends tribal percussion, organic textures, and deep grooves to evoke a sense of connection to something primal and powerful.

For me, “ТІКІ” is about honoring origins — both mythical and musical — and channeling that into a modern sound journey.

What message or feeling do you want listeners to take away?

I hope listeners feel transported — as if they’re part of a story or ritual. Whether it’s a moment of introspection or shared energy on the dance floor, I want it to leave behind a sense of mystery, grounding, and unity.

Can you walk us through the creative process?

The process began with the concept: Tiki as the first human, a spiritual figure in Polynesian culture. I wanted it to feel like a timeless ritual.

I started with organic percussion and tribal grooves, layering textured drums and natural sounds for an earthy feel. Then I added deep, hypnotic basslines and atmospheric pads to create space and mystery. Vocals and melodies came last, chosen to enhance the spiritual tone without overpowering the groove.

I let the track evolve naturally, almost like it was telling me what it wanted to become. In the end, “ТІКІ” became more than just music — it’s a sound journey into something ancient and alive.

How does this release differ from your previous work?

This is the first time I’ve drawn direct inspiration from mythology and ancient culture. It’s more mature, immersive, and conceptual — a step forward in expressing my artistry.

Industry and Personal Insights

What do you think is the biggest challenge for artists in the electronic music industry today?

Standing out in a saturated market. With so many releases every day, even high-quality work can get lost. Visibility often depends on algorithms and social media, which can overshadow the music itself.

Another challenge is staying true to your artistic vision while adapting to trends. There’s a fine line between evolving and losing your identity. On top of that, artists are now expected to be marketers, content creators, and brands — which can be overwhelming.

What role do events, collaborations, or labels play in shaping your career? (Include Cafe De Anatolia)

They’re essential — not only for exposure but for creative growth and building community.

This is my first collaboration with Cafe De Anatolia, a label I deeply respect for their commitment to organic, ethnic, and spiritually inspired electronic music. Their vision aligns perfectly with mine, and this partnership allows me to share my music with a global audience that truly appreciates this genre.

Do you have any advice for aspiring artists?

Stay true to yourself, be patient, and don’t chase quick trends. Authenticity and consistency build the most meaningful careers.

Looking Ahead

What can your fans expect next?

I’m working on new tracks that push my organic–ethno–afro house style even further. My goal is to keep growing creatively and professionally — and to take listeners on even deeper journeys through sound.
