Armin van Buuren & Adam Beyer Release First-Ever Collab ‘Techno Trance’

Armin van Buuren and Adam Beyer, two titans of electronic music, have officially joined forces for the very first time. Their debut collaboration, “Techno Trance”, reimagines the legendary Dutch producer D-Shake’s 1992 classic “Techno Trance (Paradise Is Now)”. The result is a modern anthem that bridges the roots of trance and techno with a fresh, festival-ready energy.

A Fusion of Trance and Techno

The original track, powered by raw 909 drums and hypnotic riffs, defined an era. Now, Armin and Adam deliver a 2025 rework that pushes boundaries while honoring its legacy. The new version combines:

  • Uplifting trance-inspired synths
  • Euphoric breakdowns
  • Pounding techno kicks
  • Driving, high-energy percussion

The outcome is a genre-blurring masterpiece that resonates with both trance enthusiasts and techno purists.

Artist Reactions

Techno Trance still hits hard after 30 years,” said Armin van Buuren. “Working with Adam allowed us to revive that early ’90s spirit in a 2025 jacket, connecting a new generation of ravers with our combined sounds.

Adam Beyer shared a similar sentiment: “Playing the track back-to-back with Armin and watching trance and techno fans unite instantly was surreal. It proves that great music transcends genres and eras.

A State of Trance 2025 Premiere

The collaboration had its live debut during Armin and Adam’s back-to-back set at A State of Trance 2025 in Rotterdam. The track quickly became a highlight of the night, showcasing its power on the dancefloor.

Limited-Edition Merch Drop

To celebrate the release, the duo also launched a limited-edition “Techno Trance” T-shirt, designed with a mirrored logo aesthetic. Fans can grab it now exclusively via Armada Music and Drumcode.

With this groundbreaking collaboration, Armin van Buuren and Adam Beyer prove once again that electronic music thrives when boundaries are pushed, and genres collide.
