Armin van Buuren to Release Monumental 51-Track Album Breathe in June

Armin van Buuren is preparing to release the biggest album of his career. On June 27, 2025, the trance legend will unveil Breathe, a massive double album featuring 51 tracks. This ambitious project reflects his journey both as an artist and as a person.

The album is divided into two parts: Breathe In, which was released in 2024, and the upcoming Breathe Out. While the first half focused on reflection and inner growth, the second will explore freedom, energy, and emotional release.

“This album is about creative freedom and living fully,” van Buuren explained. “It’s the story of everything I’ve learned—especially in terms of mental health and artistic growth—poured into the music.”

A Genre-Blending Experience

Breathe is not just about trance. In fact, van Buuren experiments with various styles throughout the album. As a result, fans can expect a fresh and diverse listening experience. Some of the standout collaborations include:

  • Dream A Little Dream with Sam Gray
  • Keep The Faith featuring Bon Jovi
  • Sound of You with Pendulum and Rob Swire
  • Gimme The Love with Seth Hills and Alessia Labate
  • Let It Be For Love featuring JAI RYU

These tracks blend elements of pop, rock, drum and bass, and big room EDM. Therefore, the album will appeal to a wide audience—not just longtime trance fans.

A Deeply Personal Project

Unlike some commercial releases, Breathe comes from a personal place. Van Buuren shared that he wrote the music during a time of self-reflection. He wanted to create something that truly represented his growth and mindset.

“Breathe is a reflection of my own growth, not just as an artist, but as a human being,” he said.

Furthermore, this album breaks the mold in an era of quick-hit singles and short attention spans. It offers a long-form story that invites listeners to connect on a deeper level.

Album Release and Pre-Save Details

Breathe will be released via Armada Music on June 27, 2025. The full album will be available on all major streaming platforms. Fans can pre-save it now to be among the first to listen.
