EFFECTUM 2: Cinematic Evolution and Ritualistic Grooves with Cafe De Anatolia

EFFECTUM 2, Miami, Florida, USA

Can you introduce yourself to our audience? Effectum 2 is a Miami-based duo of two female producers combining immersive electronic production with live vocals and a strong artistic vision. Relatively young as a project, EFFECTUM 2 has quickly established a presence within the electronic music scene; in a short period of time, we have performed at the United Palace Theatre on Broadway in New York—sharing the stage with internationally recognized artists such as Ace of Base, Snap!, and DJ Sash—and have performed live at Burning Man with our original music while continuing to appear in clubs across Miami and the United States. At its core, EFFECTUM 2 is built on a clear artistic direction and a strong production–vocal synergy, focused on developing a distinctive and consistent sonic identity.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music, specifically in electronic genres? Both of us came to music through a long and conscious journey; we each completed higher education in fields unrelated to music, yet from childhood, we shared a deep inner certainty that we were meant to be on a big stage—creating, performing, and composing music. We met by chance in Miami at a club where DAREMI was performing as a singer and Liliya was playing as a DJ, an encounter that immediately revealed a strong creative connection. We felt a clear desire to build our own project, and within just one month, we created enough material for a full album, spending up to ten hours a day in the studio. Almost immediately, we decided to launch our own label in order not to wait months for approval from major industry players and to begin releasing our music independently; the positive response we received confirmed we were on the right path, leading us to seek a platform like Cafe De Anatolia that shares our depth and artistic vision.

How would you describe your style and sound? Our sound blends melodic and organic electronic music with a cinematic atmosphere and emotional depth; with live vocals at the core of our identity, we combine organic textures with Afro rhythms, subtle tech-house grooves, and pop sensibility. Many of our tracks evolve as genre hybrids, creating a layered and distinctive sonic signature inspired by organic instrumentation and multicultural vocal traditions. This influence is especially present in our track “AMANAI,” where ethnic tonalities merge with modern electronic production, and in our upcoming release “Tranquil” on Cafe De Anatolia, where shamanic-inspired textures and mantra-like vocal expressions create an immersive, trance-like atmosphere. Liliya shapes the sonic architecture while DAREMI contributes as a versatile vocalist and songwriter, allowing the voice to move fluidly across styles while maintaining a clear identity.

Tell us about your latest release. “AMANAI” was born from our fascination with organic textures and ethnic tonalities; we wanted to create a track that feels both grounded and atmospheric, where modern electronic production meets ancestral vocal expression. The rhythm carries a subtle ritualistic pulse, while the vocal lines move between intimacy and expansiveness, supported by a visual concept filmed in the desert landscapes of Joshua Tree, California.

What message or feeling do you want listeners to take away from this release? We hope listeners feel a sense of grounding and inner balance, as this release is about reconnecting with something instinctive and authentic—allowing rhythm and voice to create space for reflection, movement, and emotional presence.

Can you walk us through the creative process behind this project? The process began with a vocal concept that defined the emotional direction of the track, after which we built the rhythmic foundation and organic textures. We intentionally aimed to make the track more rhythm-driven and dance-oriented, ensuring production and vocal elements developed simultaneously with careful attention to space in the mix.

How does this release differ from your previous work? This release represents a clear step forward in our artistic evolution, carrying a stronger structural focus, greater rhythmic confidence, and a more refined integration of organic and vocal elements. Submitting it to Cafe De Anatolia felt like a natural progression, as the release resonates with the label’s organic and atmospheric philosophy.

What do you think is the biggest challenge for artists in the electronic music industry today? We believe the biggest challenge is developing your own voice rather than chasing trends; the industry moves quickly, but authenticity and consistency are what build long-term presence. Growth comes when inner clarity is supported by action—discipline, persistence, and continuous learning—and if you truly feel connected to your direction, you must commit to it fully.

What role do events, collaborations, or labels play in shaping your career? Live events are where music proves its strength, allowing us to feel the real reaction of the audience, while collaborations and labels like Cafe De Anatolia expand our artistic perspective. Our collaboration with Cafe De Anatolia represents an important new chapter and a natural creative alignment for us; for us, meaningful partnerships are about a shared direction and mutual commitment to bringing every idea to its strongest possible form.

Do you have any advice for aspiring artists looking to break into the scene? Focus on developing your own voice rather than chasing trends; authenticity and consistency are what build long-term presence. If you truly feel connected to your direction, commit to it fully; the combination of vision and consistent effort eventually leads you exactly where you are meant to be.

What can your fans expect next? We are continuing to develop new material exploring deeper organic textures, hypnotic vocals, and a stronger rhythmic presence. Following our collaboration with Cafe De Anatolia, we are preparing upcoming releases that further expand our sound while maintaining its emotional core and focusing on live performances where our music fully comes to life.
