Steller’s Here & Now EP Is a Psychedelic Journey Into Presence

Bass music producer Steller returns with Here & Now, a four-track EP that blends emotional exploration, meditative energy, and subwoofer-shaking bass. Written in just two weeks after overcoming a creative block, this self-released project invites listeners into a vivid sonic world where the only moment that matters is now.

A Meditation on the Present Moment

Crafted as a personal and artistic reset, Here & Now feels like a spiritual guide for staying grounded. The EP pulses with searing synths and deep bass that offer more than just dancefloor energy—they deliver emotional release.

The opening title track, “Here & Now,” kicks off with a spoken-word introduction on the fluidity of time. Quickly, it explodes into a lucid, high-energy drop designed to jolt listeners into the present. Built specifically to launch her live sets, the track sets the tone for the EP’s introspective yet electrifying journey.

“My goal with this tour and this project was to create a moment where people can just escape for a bit and tap into something real,” Steller shared in a press release. “We all need an environment that encourages this, and I hope these songs give people what they gave me while writing them.”

Four Distinct Bass-Driven Chapters

The EP’s second track, “Downslide”—a collaboration with Seth David—dives into the unknown with controlled chaos. Gritty, asymmetrical basslines and erratic synths zigzag through the mix, offering a feeling that is both unsettling and addictive. Playful yet menacing, this track pushes boundaries.

“Down With You” takes a more introspective turn. Stripping back structure and playing with gravity, the track reduces oxygen levels with minimal textures and heavy distortion. It’s a slow descent that paradoxically lifts the listener higher into emotional release.

Closing the EP is “Eternal Love”, a sonic memory wrapped in warmth and nostalgia. Flooding the senses with euphoric textures, it serves as a powerful conclusion and emotional cleanser—a track that lingers like a feeling you can’t name but don’t want to forget.

An Artist in Her Element

Steller created Here & Now during a rare creative breakthrough—what she calls a full “artistic unraveling.” Coming off a breakout tour, collaborations with Wreckno and Ragga Twins, and a celebrated B2B set with Zingara, the EP feels like her clearest artistic vision yet.

With this release, Steller positions herself not only as a master of bass but as a storyteller with a message: to be present, feel deeply, and connect through sound. Here & Now isn’t just an EP—it’s a sonic reset, a grounding force, and a psychedelic invitation to live in the moment.
