Tell us more about yourself & your music career?
I consider myself an artist capable of crafting songs that transport listeners across hemispheres, offering a musical journey that traverses the globe. My sounds aim to evoke a sense of travel and wonder, akin to the rotation motion of the Earth. As an electronic music producer, my goal is to captivate and intrigue listeners by blending sounds and instruments from various corners of the world, creating a musical journey from west to east.
Tell Us More About Your Release?
The inspiration behind this EP stems from the idea of blending the playfulness of childhood with the unity of diverse cultures. The music is a reflection of the power that music possesses in bringing people together, emphasizing love, brotherhood, and the shared experience of living on the same planet. I believe that fostering unity is crucial for peaceful coexistence, and children, through play, exemplify the acceptance of others. The genre is Organic House, and I utilized a variety of instruments such as the Indian Flute, Turkish Oud, Hi Hat, Gong, Bongo, Cow Bells, Greek Bouzouki, Bhangra, Synthesizer, and Persian Santoor to craft a unique and culturally rich soundscape.
What is your connection with Cafe De Anatolia?
My connection with Cafe De Anatolia has grown strong since the release of my first song, “Last Flight,” in November. The relationship is marked by trust and mutual respect. Cafe De Anatolia is attentive to artists, meticulously curating our songs and maintaining a supportive atmosphere for discussions on new sounds. I am immensely grateful to Cafe De Anatolia for proposing the creation of an EP featuring my new songs, set to release on December 5, 2023.
How do you stay motivated and inspired to continue creating music, especially during times when inspiration might be elusive?
Beyond being an artist, I am a high school teacher in Italy. Establishing a connection with students from Morocco has enriched my life, providing insights into their culture, language, and traditions. Actively listening to their stories has become a wellspring of inspiration for creating new sounds, making it a joy to find daily inspiration in my real-life interactions.
What is your best time of the day to create?
There is no specific time to create a song; inspiration strikes in an instant, and I must compose immediately when I feel it.
What is the most difficult thing about being a musician?
Being a musician requires self-testing. The challenge lies in creating uplifting music when feeling down. Music has been my strength and salvation during the toughest moments. Through sound, I’ve overcome challenges, turning seeds of difficulty into beautiful and unique flowers that encapsulate my emotions, joy, and personal experiences.
