Tomorrowland is set to honor the legacy of the late Swedish electronic music legend Avicii with a groundbreaking audiovisual memorial. Launching in 2025, the installation will commemorate 10 years since his final performance on the festival’s iconic Mainstage.
Spanning an impressive 144 square meters, the memorial will be located on Tomorrowland’s festival grounds and will feature never-before-seen photos and immersive audiovisual storytelling. This tribute is designed to celebrate the life and music of Avicii—born Tim Bergling—who tragically passed away in 2018 at the age of 28.
A Lasting Legacy at Tomorrowland
Avicii’s connection to Tomorrowland runs deep. He made his festival debut in 2011, captivating fans with a then-unreleased track—“Levels”—which would soon become one of the most iconic anthems in EDM history. The song has since been voted the number one track in the Tomorrowland Top 1000 three times, cementing his status as a festival favorite.
Spatial Audio Experience via Apple Music
In addition to the physical memorial, Tomorrowland has partnered with Apple Music to bring Avicii’s music to life in a new way. Festival sets from 2012, 2014, and 2015 will be released in spatial audio, offering fans a fully immersive listening experience that replicates the energy of standing in front of the Mainstage during his unforgettable performances.
Limited Access and Reservations Required
Access to the Avicii memorial installation will be limited to ensure an intimate and respectful atmosphere. Advance reservations will be required. Fans attending Tomorrowland 2025 can find more details and secure access on the official Tomorrowland website.
