SERKAN TEMIZER: “I am excited to unveil my forthcoming EP, a dynamic musical venture that artfully combines the realms of organic instrumentation and electronic soundscapes. This release features two distinct tracks, each intricately woven with a hybrid blend of traditional and modern musical elements.”
ALPER YİĞİT: “In this song, we used the zurna instrument, which has ethnic melodies, and the electric guitar, which synthesizes Western sounds.”
Tell us more about yourself & your music career.
SERKAN TEMIZER: “Serkan Temizer is an eclectic artist based in Izmir, with an addiction to electronic music. Serkan has always had a deep-rooted passion for electronic music, and this passion has shaped his career in the entertainment industry. Over the years, Serkan has gained valuable experience as an organizer and club manager. In addition to his work in music, Serkan is also the head of an advertising agency and serves as a creative director. His diverse background and expertise in both music and marketing make him a unique and talented artist. Serkan is known for his dynamic performances and his ability to engage and connect with audiences, bringing distinct energy and passion to every performance.”
ALPER YİĞİT: “I don’t need to say much about myself. Just listening to the music I create will describe my character to you.”
What initially sparked your passion for music, and how did you decide to pursue a career in the industry?
ALPER YİĞİT: “From an early age, making music was enjoyable for me. Over the years, I realized it would be right to turn it into a career.”
Can you share a memorable moment from your music career that made a significant impact on your artistic journey?
ALPER YİĞİT: “My father’s love of music introduced me to it at an early age. Following in his footsteps brings me great joy.”
As an artist, how do you approach the creative process? Do you have any specific rituals or methods to get into the creative mindset?
ALPER YİĞİT: “It starts with a feeling. When I hear a melody or rhythm anywhere, it inspires me to create music and makes me feel like I can do it even better.”
What do you believe sets your music apart from others in the industry? What makes your sound unique?
ALPER YİĞİT: “I have full confidence in my work, knowing that my passion will lead to the right results. “Do what you love.”

How do you handle challenges or setbacks in your music career? Is there a particular experience that taught you valuable lessons?
ALPER YİĞİT: “I don’t see challenges in the music industry as problems. Music should not be made with expectations in mind. I reflect my feelings and ignore any negative aspects at the moment.”

ALPER YİĞİT: “I always enjoy collaborating with other artists. It is very enjoyable to explore the dream world of different individuals.”

ALPER YİĞİT: “The best part of being a musician is making people’s dreams come true, which makes me feel privileged.”
