EDM legends Afrojack, Martin Garrix, and David Guetta unite for the first time on record, collaborating with rising star Amél for the explosive new single “Our Time,” out now via Spinnin’ Records.
After years of friendship, festival moments, and behind-the-scenes synergy, three of electronic music’s biggest icons—Afrojack, Martin Garrix, and David Guetta—have finally come together on an official release. Their long-anticipated track, “Our Time,” also introduces breakout producer Amél, injecting youthful energy into a multi-generational masterpiece.
Released via Spinnin’ Records, the song first captivated audiences at AMF during Amsterdam Dance Event, where Afrojack and Garrix debuted an early version. The hype only grew when all four artists performed live at Ushuaïa Ibiza during Guetta’s F**k Me I’m Famous residency, offering a powerful preview of their collective chemistry.
A Milestone Moment for Dance Music
“This release brings together four generations—it’s a story that represents all of us, from where we started to where we are now. This is our time,” says Afrojack.
Amél, who played a key role in the production, brings a fresh twist to the nostalgic energy that underpins the track. The sound design nods to early 2010s EDM with its crisp percussion and soaring synth leads, but it’s not a throwback. Instead, it’s a reinvention—pushing festival-ready euphoria into a 2025 soundscape.
“I’m really grateful the four of us came together,” shares Martin Garrix. “From the first demo to the final mix, it’s a perfect example of creative evolution. I’m truly proud of what we’ve built.”
Even with tight touring schedules and global commitments, the collaborators stayed committed.
“Coordinating wasn’t easy,” David Guetta admits, “but what stood out was everyone’s dedication. Even onstage, we were tweaking the vocal mix. That passion really shows in the final product.”
Amél’s Breakthrough Moment
For Amél, “Our Time” marks a defining moment in a fast-rising career. The young producer, discovered by Afrojack, reflects on the surreal nature of working with his heroes:
“A few years ago, this was just a dream. Now, it’s reality. I’m incredibly grateful—and excited for what’s next.”
