ASLN & Hello Vera – Inside the Creation of “Albi Enak”

ASLN & Hello Vera

Can you introduce yourself to our audience?

ASSLN: My name is ASLN (Noam Asulin), a DJ and Afro House music producer from Israel.
I grew up surrounded by Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and African cultural influences, and over the years I developed a unique sound that blends ethnic melodies with deep house grooves.

I started producing music as a teenager and slowly shaped my identity in the global electronic scene. My tracks have earned millions of plays, connected me with listeners from all around the world, and helped me build a strong presence in the Afro House community. Today, I work with international labels and perform at events worldwide, always aiming to bring cultural depth and emotional storytelling into my sets and productions.

HELLO VERA: My stage name is Hello Vera. I am an artist in the Afro house techno genre, combining live performances with violin and vocals. I started playing and engaging with music at the age of 4. By the age of 16, I began producing and releasing my music on all platforms.

Today, I perform around the world with a busy schedule and enjoy great success on social media, receiving significant appreciation for my shows. The music I’ve released has garnered a lot of positive feedback from the audience.

You can identify my music by several consistent elements that I incorporate. It features a unique intro combined with Mediterranean elements, darbukas, and bongos in a Mediterranean and African rhythm, along with special hooks that integrate the violin.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music, specifically in electronic genres?

I was inspired by music long before I knew how to produce it. The combination of traditional instruments, ethnic melodies, and modern electronic production fascinated me.

Electronic music gave me the ability to create a world of my own, a place where ancient rhythms, Middle Eastern scales, and African percussion blend seamlessly with house and dance elements. That creative freedom, and the ability to make people feel something on the dancefloor, is what pushed me to pursue this as a full-time career.

How would you describe your style and sound?

My style is a fusion of Afro House that blends ethnic melodies and African percussion.
What sets me apart is the storytelling in my music — every track carries cultural depth and reflects a real emotion or moment.

With “Albi Enak,” I wanted to express a strong blend of passion and nostalgia using Arabic vocals and powerful Afro-driven rhythms, creating a track that feels spiritual, energetic, and timeless.

ABOUT YOUR RELEASE

“Albi Enak” was born from a magical collaboration between me and Vera, an incredible violin artist.
From the very first session, the connection between us was instant — we both felt that something special was happening. Our musical chemistry was natural, fast, and full of energy, and we knew right away that this project would become the next big step for both of us.

The inspiration behind the track came from the desire to blend my Afro House production with her emotional, powerful violin performance. We wanted to create a piece that feels alive, organic, and rooted in Middle Eastern culture.

We even recorded ourselves singing in Arabic and added several live instruments throughout the track, giving it a unique warmth, soul, and authenticity.
The result is a deep, emotional journey that merges electronic production with live musicianship in a truly special way.

What message or feeling do you want listeners to take away from this release?

I want listeners to feel emotion, passion, and cultural connection.
My goal is for people to feel something real, whether it’s nostalgia, excitement, peace, or inspiration.
I want them to experience the meeting point between two worlds: electronic energy and heartfelt, live musical expression.

Can you walk us through the creative process behind this project?

The creative process started with a jam session between me and Vera. She played different violin lines while I started shaping the groove and rhythm around her sound.

From there, the track evolved naturally:

  • Vera recorded multiple emotional layers, both melodic and atmospheric.
  • We recorded ourselves singing in Arabic to bring authenticity and cultural depth to the track.
  • We added real percussion, strings, and small ethnic textures to make the production feel organic and alive.
  • I built a warm groove, deep drums, and a driving rhythm that tie the whole project together.

It was a very intuitive process — every idea sparked another idea, and the track almost built itself.

How does this release differ from your previous work?

“Albi Enak” is one of my most organic, emotional, and live-sounding releases.
Unlike many of my previous tracks that are more club-oriented or electronic, this one blends live musicianship, real vocal recordings, and Middle Eastern aesthetics with my Afro House.

The duet between electronic production and live violin gives the track a special cinematic quality that stands out from my other releases. It feels more personal, more cultural, and more musical — a true fusion of two artists and two worlds.

INDUSTRY AND PERSONAL INSIGHTS

What role do events, collaborations, or labels play in shaping your career?

Working with labels has been equally important.

My journey with Cafe De Anatolia opened the door to a global audience and gave me a platform that truly understands world music, organic sound, and cultural expression.

Releasing music with AFRODITE Records, AFRONOM’s label, helped me connect deeper with the Afro House community and reach listeners who appreciate authentic, rhythm-driven music.

And releasing with Spinnin’ Records marked a huge milestone, giving my sound exposure on one of the biggest electronic labels in the world and showing me how far a unique musical identity can go.

Each label, each collaboration, and each event pushed me forward, shaped my sound, and allowed my music to reach new audiences worldwide.

Do you have any advice for aspiring artists looking to break into the scene?

The electronic scene is tough, and to survive in it you need two things:
a strong gut instinct and a thick skin.

Trust your intuition, stay true to your sound, and don’t let setbacks break you.
Consistency and inner confidence are what keep you moving forward in this industry.

LOOKING AHEAD

What can your fans expect next?

Fans can expect a lot of new music in 2026, including collaborations, live recordings, and a few big releases I’m really excited about. I’m also preparing new DJ sets in unique locations, more video content, and fresh Afro House projects that blend live instruments with my signature sound.
