Tell us more about yourself and your music career?
I’m the Founder of Awakened Dreamers, an event label boutique with otherworldly music experiences intentionally designed to invoke different archetypes of our existence through all arts, especially music and human connection. I initiated the Ecstatic Dance scene in Brazil in 2017 while being a nomad for 5 full-time years. I went to all major transformational festivals on the planet while working in music tech as a digital nomad. Sometimes, I danced for 10+ hours a day. So, I did all spiritual trainings to become a ritual facilitator: yoga, shamanism, tantra, Vipassana, and so on.

“Electric Lover” was inspired by a fiery dance floor encounter with a past lover that led us into a mystic state of consciousness through our connection while dancing together. It’s a mystic deep house track fueled by a sensual vocal and electrifying synths, aiming to induce us into an elevated state of trance, just like how I experienced it with that “Electric Lover”.
What is your connection with Cafe De Anatolia?
Cafe De Anatolia infuses spirit into dance floors, and that’s exactly how both of us converge in our mission: to deliver deep soulful messages while having remarkable dances together. Not by chance, my DJ name, Ritual Frequencies, came to me while dancing in mystical scenarios.
What initially sparked your passion for music, and how did you decide to pursue a career in the industry?
I grew up in one of the most musical places in the world: Salvador, Bahia – Brazil. There, Afro-Brazilian rhythms are in every street, even with over 1 million people in one street during carnival. But my passion for electronic music started when I was living in San Francisco, California – USA. I moved there at age 23 to work in a music tech company and grow its business worldwide. That’s when I started getting into the industry for two complementary reasons: First, I stopped drinking for productivity reasons and discovered Ecstatic Dance – a substance-free, mobile phone-free, and talk-free dance floor. I fell in love instantly and couldn’t stop going every week. Until I initiated the movement a year later in Brazil as a promoter and DJ. Parallel to that, Burning Man was how techno/house music peaked into my life. This is why today I am in both niches, and most especially connecting these two separate worlds together with our event label, Awakened Dreamers, in Bali.
Can you share a memorable moment from your music career that made a significant impact on your artistic journey?
My first Burning Man, and also all the subsequent 4 years. Before then, I had no desire to be a DJ. I was very happy as a casual dancer and its perks. But after that, and seeing the power and influence that a DJ/Producer can have on others – to empower awakening, liberation, and joy – I had a clear vision that one day I’d be the one serving the audience with my vision of how a world could look like through my body and soul.
What do you believe sets your music apart from others in the industry? What makes your sound unique? It’s deeply heartfelt, full-body impacting, and a 360-degree (full emotional range) music storytelling. There’s no co-dependency on substances or external distractions to enjoy its benefits.
