David Guetta to Headline Sunburn Mumbai 2025: Festival Moves from Goa After 18 Iconic Years

Sunburn Festival is ready to make history in 2025. After nearly two decades of electrifying beach parties in Goa, Asia’s biggest electronic music festival is moving to Mumbai. And to kick things off, global superstar and two-time Grammy winner David Guetta has been announced as the first headliner.

The Mumbai edition of Sunburn will take place from December 19–21, 2025, promising three days of world-class performances, dazzling stage productions, and the city’s unmatched nightlife energy.

From Goa to Mumbai: A Bold New Chapter

For 18 unforgettable years, Sunburn lit up Goa’s coastline with legendary performances. But the shift to Mumbai signals a bold new era. The city’s vibrant youth culture, thriving nightlife, and massive international connectivity make it the perfect new home for India’s flagship music festival.

According to Karan Singh, CEO of Sunburn:
“Sunburn has always been about creating world-class music moments in India, and David Guetta embodies that vision perfectly. Kicking off this edition with him sets the tone of unmatched energy, global calibre and experiences that truly connect India to the world.”

David Guetta Brings The Monolith Tour to India

Fans are in for a treat as David Guetta brings his Monolith Tour to Sunburn Mumbai. Known for hits like Titanium and Memories, Guetta is no stranger to India’s dance music community. He previously closed Sunburn Goa in 2015 and performed charity gigs during his #Guetta4Good tour in 2017.

This time, he returns with an awe-inspiring production. The Monolith promises to transform the main stage into a colossal visual installation, ensuring an unforgettable experience for fans.
