Inside the Sound of Lambert G: From Ambient to Organic

LAMBERT G

Can you introduce yourself to our audience?

Lambert G. I started playing many years ago with friends and at jam sessions.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music, specifically in electronic genres?

I’ve always liked electronic genres since I started playing as a young man—especially because I listened to Brian Eno, who was the one who inspired me in electronic music.

How would you describe your style and sound?

My style is synth-pop and ambient, and my sound comes from the deepest part of my soul through my improvisations.

ABOUT YOUR RELEASE

Tell us about your latest release.

My latest release is inspired by places in the Middle East that feel almost magical—mystical, I’d say. I created nine tracks, all with those breathtaking landscapes in mind.

What message or feeling do you want listeners to take away from this release?

I would like the audience to dream and go on a journey with my melodies… a unique journey, listening with their souls to what I sought to convey through my music.

Can you walk us through the creative process behind this project?

I always start with a foundation of just a few elements—like a beat and a pad playing two chords, over which I play the melody and explore arrangements—and then I continue building out the rest until the track conveys exactly what is in my head and soul.

How does this release differ from your previous work?

This release differs from my previous works because these tracks are more organic and downtempo, while the previous ones are more ambient.

INDUSTRY AND PERSONAL INSIGHTS

What do you think is the biggest challenge for artists in the electronic music industry today?

The biggest challenge in the music industry today is continuing to make music without using AI—which, while helpful for finding ideas, kills creativity.

What role do events, collaborations, or labels play in shaping your career? Please mention your collaboration with Cafe De Anatolia.

Cafe De Anatolia represented a huge milestone, as it is one of the most influential labels on the international scene—and, for me, the most important one for the “Organic” genre it champions so successfully.

Do you have any advice for aspiring artists looking to break into the scene?

Being oneself and always producing genuine music that stands out, without copying anything or anyone.

LOOKING AHEAD

What can your fans expect next?

I have a new project in store for my fans: a two-track EP with a spectacular sound.
