Write a short paragraph about your RELEASE? This is one of my favorite releases of the year, and I had a lot of fun creating it. It is a mix of Afro House and Melodic Techno, incorporating orchestra elements, Afro House sounds, and powerful, deep Melodic Techno vibes. This unique combination gives the song a special soul. The idea for this track began one night at a drum circle, where I played live with new friends. Such encounters always profoundly inspire me.

What is your connection with Cafe De Anatolia? Cafe De Anatolia has become my favorite label to release music. I am blessed to be part of this amazing family. “Gea Shango” will be my fifth release with Cafe De Anatolia, and many more are coming. I believe this release has great potential to reach millions of people, thanks to the label’s hard work and the love and passion they put into everything they do. I’m confident the audience will love the song because I poured a lot of hard work, passion, and a big part of myself into it. For the best experience, play this song on a high-quality sound system to fully enjoy and notice the details!

What do you believe sets your music apart from others in the industry? What makes your sound unique? Being from Southern Spain and having musical influences from different backgrounds (flamenco, electronic music, rap, Cadiz’s Carnaval, classical music, rock, pop) and countries make my music and performances different and unique. I love connecting with people worldwide through music, and this magical experience helps me grow as a human being and a professional.

Tell us more about yourself & your music career? I’m Marcos Esborronda (Marko Leandro) 37, originally from Cádiz, Spain, now living in San Diego, California. I moved to the United States in 2014 for love; my wife is from the USA. I met her at my favorite beach in my hometown in 2006. I began DJing in 1999 with Break Beat and Nu-Skool Vinyls, popular genres in Southern Spain and the UK. I acquired my first turntables and mixer from money I received after a motorcycle accident. This event kickstarted my DJ career. Discovering House & Techno in 2002, I’ve been playing non-stop at clubs, raves, festivals, and private events. My passion for music comes from my father, a professional flamenco singer. I sometimes infuse flamenco vibes into my productions and performances, incorporating live percussions using an electric drum and live sampling.
