Charlotte de Witte is turning her latest artistic statement into a release with a purpose.
The Belgian techno artist has announced The Resistance, a new EP arriving on 24 September via her KNTXT label, with all proceeds going to The Nighttime Foundation, a global nonprofit focused on protecting nightlife and the communities that sustain it.
“Three new tracks, played in sets all over the world,” de Witte wrote while announcing the project. “All proceeds from the EP will be donated to The Nighttime Foundation. Protect Club Culture.”
A New EP Built Around Club Culture
The Resistance features three original tracks alongside an intro version of the title cut.

The title track features Theo Nasa, whose commanding vocals help shape the EP’s central message. Meanwhile, longtime collaborator XSALT appears on “See Through The Lies,” following previous collaborations with de Witte including “Roar,” “No Division,” “Overdrive” and “How You Move.”
Charlotte de Witte Calls the Title Track One of Her Biggest
For de Witte, “The Resistance” is more than another club track. She describes it as one of the biggest productions of her career and the musical foundation of her new audiovisual show.
“Never have I ever teased a track this much as I teased ‘The Resistance,’” she explained. “From the moment the track was being made in the studio, I knew this was going to be a special one.”
The producer added that Theo Nasa “captures the spirit of the underground” and guides listeners through the essence of club culture.
The track’s fast, forceful techno production and Nasa’s spoken-word delivery form the core of the wider live concept, which connects sound, visuals and a clear message about protecting the spaces where electronic music thrives.
‘Another Place’ Began More Than a Decade Ago
The EP also includes a deeply personal production in the form of “Another Place.”
The track began with a vocal de Witte wrote in Brussels more than ten years ago alongside her friend One Track Brain. The original idea was eventually forgotten before resurfacing years later, when de Witte built an entirely new production around the old recording.
“Another Place has been in the making for over a decade,” she said. “This is an EP very close to my heart.”
Its inclusion gives The Resistance a more intimate dimension, balancing the direct, confrontational energy of the title track with a piece rooted in memory and creative rediscovery.
Supporting The Nighttime Foundation
The EP’s charitable component is closely connected to its central philosophy.
The Nighttime Foundation, launched in 2025 through VibeLab’s nightlife advocacy work, aims to support the global ecosystems that make nightlife possible. Its work brings together artists, audiences, industry professionals, grassroots communities and policymakers to help shape the future of night culture.
By donating all proceeds from The Resistance, de Witte is linking the commercial release directly to the protection of clubs, venues, workers and communities that support electronic music.
From Audiovisual Show to Studio Release
The EP follows the rollout of de Witte’s ambitious The Resistance audiovisual show.
The live concept premiered at [UNVRS] Ibiza in May before travelling through Paris, Barcelona and Belgium. An expanded XXL version was presented at Rock Werchter in July, drawing a reported crowd of more than 40,000 people.
The EP now completes the project’s transition from the stage back into the studio, giving listeners access to the music behind the visual experience while extending its message beyond the dancefloor.
The Resistance arrives on 24 September 2026 via KNTXT, with all proceeds donated to The Nighttime Foundation.
